✨I never wanted to be a Beauty Therapist, yet here I am...I’ve just finished my first trimester @ellabachecollege ⠀
(ok that’s not entirely true, I have one signature facial left🙈) anyway...I’m getting through it and I am freakin’ LOVING it🙌🏼⠀
Thursdays are my favourite day of the week, even though it’s my longest day it’s my day where I only have to worry about me.⠀
It’s my child-free day.⠀
It’s my day I buy my lunch😂⠀
It’s my day where I get to just use my brain and focus and learn and grow and not have to juggle EVERYTHING else.⠀
I know Indie is at school but I still have Mia at home full-time and even though I’m so used to the stay-at-home Mum/work life and all the other things, it’s just draining sometimes (all the time🙈)⠀
When COVID happened I wanted something extra to do at home, something to learn, something to stimulate my brain and I mean, I thought I already knew my skin stuff (and I did) but there is seriously so much to learn, about the skin, about skincare, about ingredients, product chemistry...about the body...and so all of a sudden I found myself enrolled at Ella Bache👄⠀
Oh my goodness I seriously have a new found respect for Beauty Therapists because there is so much than nails and waxing🙈 ⠀
It’s about nurturing and loving our bodies and treating them because look at what they do for us💛⠀
Back in the day, before my nutri life I actually studied and completed half my Diploma in Kinesiology. I stopped because I was paying for College myself and I was 20 and broke haha.⠀
But, I had started this because I wanted to help people, help people feel better and I know that’s what I do in my job now, but isn’t it funny how you can be called back to things?⠀
I’m never going to be a Beauty Therapist, well technically I will be but I’m just incorporating it all into everything I’m already doing and growing (BIG exciting plans, watch this space🎉)⠀

I’m 32 years young and (seriously) enjoy - gardening + knitting🌱⠀
I find myself googling things like ‘plant care’, moon phases and local weather🙈⠀
A late night for me is 10pm...⠀
I spend my Friday nights studying👩🏻‍💻⠀
I’m not really a quick learner,⠀
I am a struggling perfectionist⠀
I need at least two hours in the morning to get ready - I’ve always been this way. ⠀
I think people who can jump out of bed and be out the door in 15 minutes are odd.⠀
When I was little my Nan used to make me French toast with maple syrup. I don’t think I’ve made this for at least 15 years, but I’m going to💁🏻‍♀️⠀
I’m always sore and my left shoulder is permanently fucked. I don’t really know why, I stretch and yoga and do all the things🤦🏻‍♀️⠀
If I can fit in an extra weekly gym class I feel like I’m killing it at life😂⠀
Things that excite me (a part from skincare) include linen sales, new recipes and good coffee🎉⠀
I have no natural talent. I can’t sing or dance or play an instrument. I never played team sports.⠀
I listen to music over watching tv.⠀
I love a good podcast (and book of I ever get a second to read one🤦🏻‍♀️)⠀
I have a system for laundry...⠀
And packing the dishwasher🙈⠀
All my houseplants have names🌿⠀
I’m pro wax and anti-laser but I’d like to get my tattoos removed🤷🏻‍♀️⠀
I haven’t coloured my hair for nearly 4 years.⠀
My kids think I’m the worst and I’m not the ‘Cool Mum’ I always thought I’d be...⠀
I’m boring, I’m plain - in all the ways, vanilla is my favourite ice-cream, I always order the same food and I’m not a huge fan of sauce🙊⠀
To be honest, I was never young and fun but if someone else could please tell me I’m not alone that would be great, we can start a club🤞🏼 ⠀
